Whose site is this?
This site was created and is maintained by independent Story Time Felts consultant, Karen Clark. Team members around the USA who are also consultants also use this website to refer customers for orders and information and are welcome to do so.

What is Uncut or Precut?
Our product is available either as a felt kit that is ready for you to cut out yourself , or with all of the felt pieces already cut out. If you order something uncut you will receive the large piece of felt with the artwork printed on it. This will require cutting out the pieces. You may also be required to assemble some of the products such as the soft felt activity books, the puppets, masks and some of the felt boards. You can use hot glue or washable fabric glue for this. All instructions are included. If you would rather have your items arrive ready to play with, order them precut!

What is Mounted?
We have several large felt board story sets that have beautiful background "boards" such as the ocean in the Ocean Felt Board, or the castle in the Castle Tales Felt Board. The background board comes already mounted on a coroplast (corrugated plastic - like plastic cardboard) board that is scored down the back in the center for storage purposes. The boards are mounted so that they can be leaned against a wall, chair, or easel because they are stiff. If you would like to order an item Unmounted and either use it as a play mat or mount it yourself, let your consultant know as there is a price reduction of $5.00. Instructions are included but before ordering Unmounted, please be sure you have a suitable sized board to use if mounting yourself. Once the order is shipped Unmounted we cannot go back and mount it for you. In our customers' experiences, ordering Mounted is the most efficient in terms of time and expense. To order unmounted backgrounds using this shopping cart, simply order the regular version but let me know in the comments are that you would like the item unmounted. I will adjust the price before charging your card.

How does the felt stick?
The felt sticks to the felt backgrounds through friction and gravity! The background boards need to be opened flat and then leaned against something at a slight angle to create the friction and gravity. If you wish to use them on a vertical surface such as a wall, just put a small block under the bottom edge to create an angle. For regular use, leaning it against a wall, chair, sofa, or children's easel works great!

Where does the felt come from?
Our product is designed and manufactured in Salem, UT at the Story Time Felts headquarters.

How long does it take to arrive?
Shipping is usually via UPS from the headquarters in Salem, UT. Depending on where you are in relation to there, shipping can take 1-2 weeks or longer for larger orders that are precut.

Can I get the board story sets without the audio CDs?
Yes you can, simply make a note of that in the Comments section of the shopping cart and I will deduct $5 off the price of the set before charging you.
