Fun Felt Idea

If you are looking for fingerplays that we don't have, you can easily make your own with any felt figure! Our felt easily sticks to hook velcro! Simply pick the figures you need, and take any glove (the cheap knit ones work great) and adhere the hoome part (the pokey side) of Velcro Dots to the fingertips. Then take any felt figures to attach to the velcro fingertips! Since the velcro sticks to the back of the felt figure, it doesn't affect the picture when you take it off or put it on the velcro on the glove, so you can still use the, on your felt board when you aren't using them for fingerplays.

Some ideas for custom finger plays: seasonal figures from our Christmas Joys Book, bugs from our Bug Book, or toys from our Toy Counter math set.

Another idea is to take tongue depressors with Velcro Dots on the end and use these as stick puppets for either dramatic play or fingerplays where each child can hold one. I also have a consultant who uses crochet tubes on each finger with the Velcro Dots at the tips. This way each child gets to participate.
