Home Based Business Opportunity
Are you looking for a part time job or additional income for your family in Sonoma County? There are currently only 2 Consultants in Sonoma County, one in Santa Rosa and one in Rohnert Park, and we need your help! This is a great family based business for those who either wish to avoid regular employment outside the home, or for those who wish to supplement their regular job's paycheck. All that is required is that you sign an agreement by purchasing a starter kit. There are no further requirements or minimums, but the rewards are great if you choose to actively sell and sponsor in this area. Story Time Home Parties
Would you like to invite me to your home so your friends and their children can enjoy a fun story time home party while you earn free products? Hosting a felt party in your home is simple, fast, and fun for everyone! I bring my most popular items for the age group of children present, and use our felt to tell them stories and sing songs while the adults shop. The felt story demonstration is about 30 minutes, with another 30 minutes for questions and ordering. I keep my felt parties short and sweet because I understand that young children need to get up and move around! Parties can be held in the daytime or evening. Simply contact me to find out available dates, up to 3 months in advance.

Free Staff Training
Do you operate a school, preschool or childcare facility? Does your staff understand the educational value of felt and how to fully implement the use of felt board stories into their curriculum? I offer 1-2 hour workshops educating those who work with young children about the magic of multi-sensory learning with felt. These trainings can include a make and take component with prepayment for felt sets. Fantastic Felt Fun is an example of a workshop outline that I have used in the past, but with consultation we can adapt the outline to your needs or create something unique. I do not charge for my trainings but I do ask that I be allowed to pass out information or catalogs at the end, and to collect contact information from attendees in the form of feedback/door prize drawing slips.

Fundraisers and Felt-Raisers
I offer local fundraiser or "felt-raiser" parties, demonstrations or catalog sales to help all kinds of organizations earn either cash or free product. In the case of a fundraiser, in lieu of free product, your organization can earn between 10 and 20% of all orders placed through me. The percentage raises with the amount of product purchased overall. For "Felt-Raisers," your organization receives the amount of Free Felt that our regular home party hostesses can earn. Either scenario can take the form of a home party, after school demonstration, catalog party, staff training, or vendor booth. I can also come set up my product in your staff room for a few days and collect orders in an envelope if that is more convenient, with or without a time to sit and answer questions. Vendor Events
I am always seeking appropriate vendor events at which to display and demonstrate the Story Time Felts product line. If you know of or are coordinating an event within a 60 mile radius of Sonoma County, please let me know. If I am available, I would be more than interested in securing a spot.

Sonoma Marin Moms in Business at Cafe Mom. This is a discussion forum fo ranyone in business in Sonoma and Marin counties. Come share ideas!

The Parent Pack : Networking support group for Sonoma County parents who work from home, and a general message board for all parents.

Direct Sales Movers and Shakers: Networking group with monthly meetings for direct sales/party plan representatives. One consultant per company allowed. Contact group owner for interview/approval.
