plotting the key elements of your Success Story now! A great
"Introduction" or "Preface" builds excitement for your "Story."
Remember, the more you do, the more quickly you get results:

WHO: Who can help you? In this business, there is a
tremendous amount of support, both online and off! You will receive
training and help from your direct sponsor, their upline Consultants,
your Director, the company Owners, the home office staff, and fellow
Consultants. One of the best things about joining this company through
my team is that we all strive to help each other out, no matter who we
sign up under! We will share ideas, answer questions and offer
suggestions to anyone who expresses the need, because we believe that
when we help others, we help ourselves!
WHO ELSE? Who do you know? Give yourself 5 minutes to
think of as many people in the following categories as you can. Do
not prejudge with regard to our product or business, simply list
people you are aquainted with in any capacity. If they are interested in either the product, the hostess
benefits or the home based business, these names are like money in
the bank! But if they aren't interested in those, simply ask them
"Who do you know who might be interested in Story Time Felts?" Every
name is valuable!

WHAT? What do
you want to achieve? Money... new friends... fun... recognition... rewards.... They're all waiting for you!

WHEN? When will you work? Your Story Time Felts
business will be flexible and can fit beautifully into your life. You
simply must decide how much time you are willing to devote to it.
Although Story Time Felts has no quotas or required sales or
sponsoring to receive commissions, we strongly recommend that everyone participate in our 6
week Quick Start training period. You will find that holding at least
2 home parties a week during this period will have several important
benefits:
1. You'll get over your
nervousness faster.
2. Even if you have a
party that is a "dud," your schedule is already booked with the next one, so you
won't be tempted to give up too soon!
3. You'll start earning
money right away.
4. You'll learn the
catalogs and the product line.
5. Meeting lots of people
early on will help you book more shows and meet a buddy or two to
join your team.
Remember, during your first 6
weeks you will be in training! Learn as much as you can from others
that already know how. Ask questions, participate in the online
support forum, call your sponsor or Director after your first parties,
and don't be afraid to ask for help! The great news is that you earn
as you learn! And as your business develops and your team grows,
you'll begin to experience even greater profits from your
efforts!
WHERE? You can talk to people everywhere you go
about your new business. Bring some felt with you wherever you go,
whether it is to the store, to a park, an indoor play land, or
anywhere that parents or teachers may be. Having your felt visible is
an easy ice breaker - people will be curious!
As you are getting started, you
will find that the home party is the best use of your time for
contacts and income. You can sell more and make contacts for future
sales and sponsoring in a shorter amount of time in a home
demonstration! Each party you hold helps you branch out! Fairs,
special events, and one-on-one appointments are another source for
new contacts that can then lead to demonstrations or sponsoring new
Consultants. Many Consultants find that setting up a simple display
at fairs, festivals, craft shows, teacher conventions and homeschool
curriculum fairs is a great way to meet people. Display your product
and offer a prize drawing so that you can obtain contact information for
consistent follow up. Often the people you meet will turn into your
next hostess or team member!
WHY? This is the most important "W" in your story. Take a
piece of paper and write down the following:
Biggest "why" for starting
this business.
Most important personal
goals.
Most important family
goals.
Most important financial
goals.
Your strengths.
Areas for growth.
As you begin this wonderful story
you will find yourself reflecting back to your Why Story often.
Picture yourself fulfilling your dreams, do what it takes to make it
happen, and you will get results!
